"Slept" in until 0845 this morning. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. But it's vacation so time is an Elephant. Anyway got up & made the fire. 1 Match fire hooray. Well...1 match 3 paper tower sections & the pre-made small style kindling. (gonna have to chop some more of those later.)
But this "vacation" is hell on machines. First the car destroys it's clutch. Then this morning the stupid stove won't start. The propane tanks are full. The connections are tight. I am guessing something is clogged somewhere. But where? You guess & my guess are equals. The good news is we have fire. So we can cook & coffee will be made. But, fire cooking can be a tricky beast. Yet we've done it before so I am not overly concerned.
Plan for today is eat breakfast, play killer bunnies & find out about the car. After that we will decide what we need to do. Hopefully we can go hiking & actually enjoy the redwoods we came down here to see. Who know though. Depends on the car, and the people. But I am playing more games than I would at home & nobody is fighting. So it's a good vacation. It is just a god vacation. ON THE PLUS SIDE we do not have Sadie. She would have been miserable & whiny and severely limited our options. Ellen is playing appliance repairman now. Let's watch.
