Dinner Sucked. Ribs went on the fire too soon. I didn't have/use proper utensils. Burned fingers & dropped in ash. Removed form fire to wait for cooing coals. The meat was god inside, but crunchy with a sprinkling of ash. Beer is Good. Hard to figure wife & childs mood after today's events as they are not talking. But it's dark & bed is soon & tomorrow is another day.
ROAD NOTES:
The Tow truck driver reminded me of Chester:
He was a nice guy though. Helped talk to and translate the Mechanics. We left the Rav @ Marty's. George's did not have time to finish by Wednesday. Per Kyle (Tow truck driver) everyone was jammed. Rented car @ Express Rental (through "2 Guys" For $42 a day. This vacation is adding up and I still haven't found a cribbage board.) Kia Optimus prime Red. Went to Wal~Mart for coffee & HC & Beer (none there) & stuff. Grabbed wood & Soda from Rav. Somewhere over the course of Rav ordeal I lost my shades. Not a bid deal but depressing. Ellen drove, I am impressed. Not with her driving. I know she is skilled. But with my RAv. In the Optima you felt every washboard stretch & bump. None of that in the Toyota. Yay Rav 4. Too bad it's clutch was made of Peanut Brittle. Oh Yeah consensus is burned out Clutch will get estimate Tomorrow.QUESTIONS INSPIRED BY TODAY:
What kind of beer goes best with a burned out Clutch?
Is the "Click-it or Ticket" sign a bluff if the the speed limit is checked by Radar?
Why do Californians have to name every single road & bridge after somebody?
What is it with sporadic Freeways? Isn't a Freeway supposed to be an interstate?
