Lunch at Rogue Brewery No tour (too bad). Played Fluxx while waiting. Bug won. We did not log the game in the game journal, but there were a couple somewhat notable events. 1st round Ellen Played the
Sun, and I played the
Moon. Malika stole the
star from me, and played it on a later round. So for a while we had the
sun &
moon &
star as keepers. kinda neat. to me anyway. Bug won the game with the
Peace and No War goal due to me being nice and a little stupid. I played the Action
Sweeping instead of
Time Vortex because I didn't want to loose time vortex. But the hand limit was zero so it wouldn't have mattered. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. We heard a Lady say "I see the Sun over there" and then from the next table she came over and asked about the game. We gave her a brief explanation of the game and how it works, and that it is a random silly little game that is well suited for waiting. I should have mentioned
Looney Labs as a website, oh well hindsight & all that.
ROAD NOTES:
Peedee Jeans company is gone, kinda sad. I didn't take the shortcut because I wasn't positive about it. That's twice I haven't taken it. Next time for sure. Road work=People standing around. Saw a Flagger with no flag (stop/slow sign) standing under a "Narrow Shoulders" sign. Her(?) Shoulders looked fine to me. Then like 4 road work signs in a row with no evidence of people, or work. Coast was very foggy. I would love to have Chipotle Beer again it is yummy.
